From the Houston Cougars to the Memphis Tigers to the Kentucky Wildcats, this year’s March Madness tournament is full of predators hungry for the W. Whichever team you’re rooting for – even if they don’t have a big cat mascot – you can win your own snack game when you break out our Taste of the South Dips.

Our dips are more than *dips* the way you’re thinking – you can bread your wings with bacon and onion dip, dress your sliders with our Fried Pickle and Ranch Dip or Triple Cheddar Pimento Cheese, and add a little something to your charcuterie with our Cast Iron Spinach Artichoke Dip or Bootlegger Beer Cheese Dip. But since the weather is still a little chilly, we are going to heat things up a bit. Here are some of our favorite spicy snacks we know will heat up your March Madness.

Buffalo Chicken Sliders: This recipe is incredibly easy to make – it might be even easier than putting out chips and dip. All you need to do is grab a pack of slider buns and our delicious Buffalo Style Chicken Dip (or Nashville Hot, if you prefer). Simply spread the dip on the buns and you're done! If you'd like, you can add some cheese or ranch dressing, but we think these sliders are delicious as is. Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers: Spicy snacks? Yep. With bacon? Yes. And three cheese options? Oh yes. These require a little more prep, but they are absolutely delicious. If you’ve only ever had jalapeño poppers out of the freezer section, we’re about to ruin you: https://www.tasteofthesouthdips.com/tips-of-the-south/bacon-wrapped-jalapeno-recipe.

Spicy, Cheesy Hanky Pankies: We know the good ol’ recipe from our childhoods calls for Velveeta, ground beef and sausage, but hear us out. What if you took those tiny slices of rye or pumpernickel, covered them with our Sausage and Cheese Dip, and sprinkled them with red pepper? A little taste of home, some delightful Taste of the South Dip and a little kick of heat to top it off? We’re in: https://www.tasteofthesouthdips.com/slow-cooker-sausage-cheese.

Pimento Cheese Sausage Balls: Sausage balls are a timeless classic, especially during the colder months. These slow-cooker favorites are perfect for tailgates, holiday parties, work potlucks, and any other gathering where good food and company come together. By using our delicious Triple Cheddar Pimento Cheese, we guarantee that you'll love them even more! Buffalo Chicken Bombs: You can skip the cooking, shredding, and stirring with this easy recipe! By combining your favorite refrigerated biscuits with our delicious Buffalo Style Chicken Dip, butter, seasoning, and a sprinkle of parmesan, you'll end up with a snack that you never knew you needed in your life. Don't forget to break out your trusty cast iron skillet for this one! Check out the recipe here: https://www.tasteofthesouthdips.com/tips-of-the-south/buffalo-chicken-bombs.
